What people usually ask before booking
Honest answers to the questions you are probably thinking right now.
Do I really need a notary for this document?
Not every document needs one. If you are signing a loan package, power of attorney, or real estate deed, then yes. If you are unsure, just ask. I can tell you in a minute.
How does a mobile notary work?
I drive to you. You pick the location – your home, a coffee shop, an office conference room. I bring my stamp, journal, and any forms you need. We meet, you sign, and I notarize. That is it.
What is the difference between a notary and a signing agent?
A notary verifies your identity and witnesses your signature. A signing agent is a notary who is certified to handle loan documents. I am both. For real estate closings, that second credential matters.
How far in advance do I need to book?
A few hours is usually fine. Same-day appointments are common. Just call or text to check my schedule. Evenings and weekends are available too.
What do I need to bring to the appointment?
A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID – driver's license, passport, or military ID. Do not sign the document beforehand. We sign together in front of me.
Can you serve legal papers or help with paralegal work?
Yes. I am a certified paralegal and a licensed process server. I can draft documents, organize filings, or deliver court papers anywhere in Scott County. One call covers it all.
Still have questions?
Every situation is a little different. Send me a message and I will answer the same day.
